Community Services Division

The Community Services Division offers outpatient behavioral health intervention and treatment programs in the Greater Philadelphia area. Many programs are publicly subsidized with flexible eligibility criteria, and fees can be reduced through health insurance coverage and CORA Services adjustable fee schedule.

  • Psychological Services: Individual and family counseling and psychological services are available through publicly funded or private fee-for-service programs. CORA Services staff of therapists and case managers is experienced in individual, family and group intervention and treatment strategies. Typical presenting concerns include relationship difficulties, family functioning issues, stress-related problems, parenting and child behavior concerns and adjusting/reacting to significant changes such as loss or trauma.
  • Substance Use Treatment Services: Treatment of substance use problems is available to youth and adults. Licensed services include assessment and service planning, individual/ family therapy and case management (adolescents). CORA Services is also a provider of PA Student Assistance Program services in selected schools.
  • Family Intervention Services: Family Intervention is a publicly funded prevention/ intervention services continuum designed to provide access to mental health counseling and related services for families experiencing child-related problems and who are un/underinsured for mental health benefits and those youth experiencing risk factors often associated with truancy or delinquency. Youth at risk of truancy or delinquency have access to individual and family therapy, youth development programs and case management services as appropriate.
  • Lifeline Crisis Pregnancy Services: Lifeline offers intervention and support services for pregnant and parenting teens and young adults and their families. Information and referral for prenatal care, labor and delivery, and other medical, financial and housing assistance is provided. Group educational programs addressing concerns of the parents-to-be and their families/support people are available on a regular basis.
